Chiloscyllium griseum, commonly called the grey bamboo shark, is a small carpet shark in the family Hemiscylliidae. It occurs in the Indo-West Pacific and is recorded from reef-associated and coastal habitats at roughly 5 to 100 m, with a reported maximum total length of 77 cm. Young fish can show 12 to 13 saddle marks that fade as the animal grows; adults are generally light brown, yellow-brown, or grey-brown.
