The Honda Lagreat is the export name for the long-wheelbase version of the standard Honda Odyssey. It was marketed in Europe and Japan to offer an alternative to the shorter, JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) Odyssey. The Lagreat provided significantly more rear passenger legroom and cargo space due to its extended chassis.

The primary difference between the Honda Lagreat and the standard domestic Honda Odyssey of the late 1990s is the chassis length and width. The Lagreat utilizes an extended long-wheelbase design, whereas the earlier standard Odyssey models were narrower and shorter. This allowed the Lagreat to comfortably seat up to seven passengers with vastly improved third-row space.

The Honda Lagreat was typically powered by a 2.3-liter VTEC V6 engine, delivering smooth and reliable power suited for a large family hauler. This engine allowed it to compete with larger V6-powered minivans in international markets. It was paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission in earlier models before later receiving updates.
