How many irrigation zones can a Hunter Pro-HC control?
Hunter sells the Pro-HC in fixed 6, 12, and 24-station versions. Unlike the modular Hunter HPC, a Pro-HC cannot be expanded later by inserting additional station modules.
Will the Pro-HC connect to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network?
No. The Pro-HC uses 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, so a router configured for 5 GHz only will not provide a compatible connection.
Does the Pro-HC stop working if the internet goes down?
It can continue running schedules stored in the controller and can be operated from its touchscreen while offline. Remote changes, weather updates, alerts, and Hydrawise cloud access require an internet connection.
How does Hydrawise change watering when rain is forecast?
Hydrawise's Predictive Watering system uses local weather information to adjust or suspend scheduled irrigation. The Pro-HC can also work with an optional flow meter to report unusual water use and possible broken pipes or valves.
