Island is an enterprise browser built to put corporate identity, access, data, and security controls inside the browsing session, rather than treating the browser as a neutral window. Chrome and Edge can be managed too, but Island's product is specifically sold as a security-focused enterprise browser.

It can apply web and browser security policies to restrict malicious sites, unsafe content, and risky actions inside the managed session. It should complement endpoint and email defenses, because a browser control does not remove every phishing or account-takeover risk.
