Istana Bogor, or Bogor Palace, is one of Indonesia's presidential palaces in the city of Bogor, West Java. Its colonial predecessor was begun after Dutch governor-general Gustaaf Willem van Imhoff selected the site in 1744; construction of the Buitenzorg retreat began in 1745 and its design drew on Blenheim Palace in England. The building later became part of Indonesia's presidential estate after the transfer of sovereignty.
