Jo Siffert (1936-1971) was a Swiss racing driver who competed in Formula One from 1962 until his death in 1971. He won two Formula One World Championship Grands Prix, securing victories at the 1968 British Grand Prix and the 1971 Austrian Grand Prix. Siffert drove for teams including Lotus, BRM, and March, and was particularly successful in sports car racing, winning the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 1000km of Paris. He died following an accident during a non-championship race at Brands Hatch in October 1971.
