Pedro Rodríguez was a Mexican racing driver who competed in Formula One from 1963 to 1971, starting 54 Grands Prix for teams including Lotus, BRM, and Cooper. Driving for BRM, he won two World Championship races: the 1967 South African Grand Prix and the 1970 Belgian Grand Prix. He was also a leading sports car driver, winning the 1968 24 Hours of Le Mans in a Ford GT40 alongside Lucien Bianchi. Rodríguez died in July 1971 during a sports car race at the Norisring in Nuremberg, West Germany.
