Joe Fry (1915–1950) was a British racing driver best remembered as a hillclimb specialist. Driving the lightweight Freikaiserwagen special, he was among the leading figures in British speed hillclimbing after the Second World War. His only World Championship Formula One start came at the 1950 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, where he shared a Maserati with Brian Shawe-Taylor and finished outside the points. He died later that year in an accident at the Prescott hillclimb course.
