Kinjhar Lake, also known as Kalri Lake, is a large freshwater reservoir located in the Sindh province of Pakistan. Recognized as a Ramsar-protected wetland of international importance, the lake serves as a crucial habitat for diverse wildlife, particularly numerous species of migratory birds during the winter. In addition to its ecological value, the reservoir is an essential piece of regional infrastructure, supplying critical drinking water and irrigation to the nearby city of Karachi. The area is also culturally significant, housing the shrine of the Sindhi folklore figure Noori Jam Tamachi on its banks.
