description Logan Rock Overview
Logan Rock is a granite rocking stone near Treen on the Penwith peninsula in Cornwall, England. The boulder weighs about 80 tons and rests on a small contact area, allowing it to rock when force is applied at a suitable point. Its movement was demonstrated by hand in the early nineteenth century, but the stone was temporarily displaced in 1824 and later restored to its original position.
