The Mahi is an interstate river of central and western India. It rises in the Vindhya Hills of Madhya Pradesh, crosses Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Gujarat, and enters the Gulf of Khambhat, an inlet of the Arabian Sea. Major water-control works on its course include the Kadana Dam and the Wanakbori Weir, which support irrigation and regional water management.
