The Brahmani is a major seasonal river of Odisha, India, formed at Vedavyasa near Rourkela by the confluence of the South Koel and Sankh rivers. It flows through several Odisha districts and reaches the Bay of Bengal through the Dhamra estuary, where its mouth is shared with the Mahanadi system. With a total length of about 799 kilometres, it is one of Odisha's principal river systems and supports irrigation and settlements along its basin.
