Manila is a community-card poker variant associated with the Philippines. It uses a stripped deck containing cards from seven through ace, removing the lower ranks found in a standard deck. Players receive two private cards and must use both of them when making the final hand with the community cards. The reduced deck changes the frequency of poker combinations and makes high-card holdings more significant than in ordinary Texas Hold'em.
