Nasturtium

description Nasturtium Overview

Nasturtium refers mainly to plants in the genus Tropaeolum, a group of annual and perennial species native to South and Central America. They have rounded, often shield-shaped leaves and brightly colored flowers in shades of yellow, orange, and red. The leaves and flowers are edible and have a peppery flavor, so nasturtiums are grown both as ornamental trailing or climbing plants and as culinary additions to salads and other dishes.
