description Nimba Massif Overview

The Nimba Massif is a mountainous area extending across Guinea, Liberia, and Côte d'Ivoire in West Africa. It contains Mount Richard-Molard, also called Mount Nimba, and is known for high biological diversity, including species adapted to its mountain habitats. Parts of the massif are protected within the Mount Nimba Strict Nature Reserve, while the region has also been associated with significant iron ore deposits.
