Norton Identity Protection

Norton's consumer identity-protection service is sold under the LifeLock name in the United States. Current LifeLock plans include Core, Advanced, and Total, while some Norton 360 bundles include LifeLock features alongside antivirus and VPN tools.

LifeLock sends alerts for monitored activity and provides access to identity-restoration specialists when theft occurs. Reimbursement limits depend on the selected plan, with the current Total plan advertising combined coverage of up to $3 million per covered adult across eligible categories.

No monitoring service can stop every fraudulent account or transaction before it happens. LifeLock primarily detects covered warning signs, sends alerts, and assists with recovery, so users should still review bank and credit-card activity.

A stand-alone LifeLock plan is not automatically the same as a Norton 360 bundle. Products such as Norton 360 with LifeLock combine identity monitoring with device security, so buyers should check the exact plan name and number of supported devices.
