Oslo Accords

description Oslo Accords Overview

The Oslo Accords were a set of agreements reached in the 1990s between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization. The 1993 agreements included mutual recognition and established a framework for limited Palestinian self-government in parts of the West Bank and Gaza Strip. They were intended to create an interim process leading toward negotiations on a broader Israeli-Palestinian settlement, but the process did not produce a final peace agreement.
