Phrase TMS

Formerly known as Memsource, Phrase TMS is a cloud-based translation management system within the Phrase Localization Platform. It brings workflow automation, translation memories, terminology management, quality checks, and vendor coordination into a shared environment. APIs and connections to multiple machine translation engines allow translation work to be linked with other systems and different sources of automatically generated text. The service suits language-service providers and enterprise localization teams coordinating translators, editors, projects, and multilingual content.

Its main distinction is the management of the translation process around the text, including reusable resources and the movement of work between participants. A translation memory can supply previously approved wording, while terminology guidance supports consistency. These functions help organize human and machine contributions without making every translation decision equivalent or removing the need for review.
