Plesiodiadema indicum is a species of deep-sea diadematid sea urchin recorded from the Indian Ocean. It belongs to a group of regular sea urchins characterized by a rounded body and slender spines used for movement and protection. Reports from bathyal and abyssal depths place the species on the deep seafloor, well below the shallow coastal habitats associated with many familiar sea urchins.
