Porn Star Martini

The modern Pornstar Martini is usually made with vanilla vodka, passion-fruit liqueur or syrup, lime, and passion fruit, with a small glass of sparkling wine served alongside. Prosecco is normally a side pour rather than an ingredient shaken into the drink.

The cocktail is widely credited to bartender Douglas Ankrah, who created it in London in the early 2000s. Its name and passion-fruit presentation helped it become a widely recognized modern cocktail.

Passion-fruit purée, juice, or syrup provides the main tropical flavor and color. Vanilla vodka and lime balance the fruit with sweetness and acidity.

It is commonly served in a chilled coupe or martini glass, with half a passion fruit as garnish. A separate shot glass of sparkling wine is often placed beside it.
