Progressive Chess

description Progressive Chess Overview

Progressive chess is a family of chess variants in which each player makes a sequence of moves that grows longer on every turn. White begins with one move, Black then makes two, White makes three, and the progression continues, subject to rules governing checks and when a sequence must end. Standard pieces and the normal board are used, but the expanding move sequences create combinations and mating threats unlike those in orthodox chess.
