Queen's Bath

description Queen's Bath Overview

Queen's Bath is a natural tide pool formed in lava rock near Princeville on the northern coast of Kauai, Hawaii. Ocean water enters the pool through openings in the surrounding rock, and conditions vary sharply with tides and surf. Although the site can appear calm during periods of low summer swell, powerful waves can wash across the ledge without warning, making it especially hazardous during the winter surf season.
