Rheinau Abbey is a former Benedictine monastery located on an island in the Rhine River near the town of Rheinau in the canton of Zurich, Switzerland. Founded in the late 8th century, it became a significant religious center before being secularized in 1862. Its Baroque church, rebuilt in the early 18th century, contains notable frescoes and organ works. The abbey buildings now house a psychiatric clinic.
