Rockingham Pottery was an English ceramic works in Yorkshire that operated from the eighteenth century into the nineteenth century. It is associated with richly decorated porcelain, ornate forms, and the brown glaze commonly called Rockingham glaze. The works is also linked to the large Rhinoceros vase, an ambitious example of nineteenth-century ceramic production. Rockingham pieces are collected for their distinctive glaze, decoration, and historical association with Yorkshire pottery.
