Rondeletiola minor is a small bobtail squid in the family Sepiolidae, a group of compact cephalopods that spend much of their time near the seabed or in the lower water column. It is recorded from the Mediterranean Sea and the northeastern Atlantic and has the rounded body, fins, and ventral light-producing organ characteristic of bobtail squids. The species is mainly relevant to marine taxonomy and regional cephalopod studies, rather than to commercial fisheries.
