Shanghai: Dynasty

Shanghai: Dynasty was developed by Quicksilver Software and published by Activision in 1998. It is part of the classic, long-running Shanghai computer game series based on Mahjong solitaire.

While it is primarily a tile-matching solitaire game, it does feature classic Shanghai tile sets. It also includes a mode that allows players to play traditional mahjong against AI opponents.

Because it was released for older operating systems in 1998, running Shanghai: Dynasty on modern Windows likely requires compatibility modes or an emulator. Modern 64-bit systems often struggle to support this late-90s Activision title natively.

The game features the traditional Shanghai tile-matching puzzle alongside multiplayer variants. It also notably includes a children's tile set to make the gameplay more accessible to younger players.
