Six-Card Stud

description Six-Card Stud Overview

Six-Card Stud is a stud poker family in which each player receives six cards, with the deal mixing concealed and exposed cards across betting rounds. The exact distribution is not universal: documented versions include one card down and five up, one down and four up followed by a final downcard, and two down with four up. Players normally make their best five-card poker hand from the six cards, so the name identifies the card count more reliably than one fixed deal sequence.
