description Varjo XR-4 Overview
Designed for professional mixed reality, the Varjo XR-4 combines high-resolution displays with camera passthrough that brings a view of the physical environment into the headset. Each eye receives a 3840 by 3744 display image. Its broad field of view and attention to visual detail support applications where users need to inspect digital objects or align virtual content with real surroundings. Industrial design and simulation are natural uses for this approach, while collaboration and specialist training depend on the software and systems connected to it.
The XR-4 suits organizations building demanding immersive workflows rather than people seeking a simple standalone gaming device. Passthrough quality is a central distinction, helping physical controls and digital material coexist in one view. Its enterprise orientation also means evaluating the complete setup, including compatible computing hardware and application support.
