The yellow-tail moth, Euproctis similis, is a species of tussock moth in the family Erebidae. The adult is mostly white and is identified by the yellow tuft at the end of its abdomen; it is active mainly at night. The species occurs across much of Europe and in parts of temperate Asia, and its hairy caterpillars feed on the leaves of deciduous trees and shrubs.
