Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien

The game was released on a wide variety of platforms, including PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC. It later made its way to the PlayStation Vita and eventually the Nintendo Switch.

Runner2 abandons the 8-bit, retro aesthetic of the original game in favor of fully 3D, colorful polygonal environments. The camera is also positioned behind the player, CommanderVideo, rather than using a strictly side-view perspective.

In addition to jumping and sliding, Runner2 introduces new moves like the dance slide and the ability to block with a shield. The levels also feature multiple pathways and forks in the road, allowing for less linear progression.

The game is narrated by Charles Martinet, who is famously known as the voice of Mario in Nintendo's video games. His energetic voice acting provides a whimsical tone to the game's menus and tutorials.
