Berolina Chess

description Berolina Chess Overview

Berolina Chess is a fairy-chess variant that changes the normal pawn rule while leaving the other pieces governed by standard chess movement. Its pawns move diagonally forward and capture one square straight ahead, reversing the usual relationship between movement and capture. This rule changes pawn structure, attack patterns, and opening play while retaining the standard board and familiar piece set.
