Abralia veranyi is a small enoploteuthid squid of the Mediterranean Sea and the eastern Atlantic Ocean. It is bioluminescent and is distinguished by the arrangement of photophores on its body, a light-producing feature common among many members of Enoploteuthidae. The species was formally described by Eduard Rüppell in 1844 and is also called Verany's enope squid.
