The cruiser is a large brush-footed butterfly in the genus Vindula, found across parts of South and Southeast Asia and the Australasian region. It is a strong, rapid flier and shows pronounced sexual dimorphism: males are predominantly orange, while females are generally duller brown or greenish with conspicuous pale bands. Its larvae feed on passionflower-family plants.
