description North Slob Overview

North Slob is an area of reclaimed coastal land located along the southern shore of Wexford Harbour in southeast Ireland. Created in the 19th century through the construction of sea walls, the area now serves primarily as fertile agricultural farmland. A significant portion of this wetland environment is protected within the Wexford Wildfowl Reserve, which provides a crucial wintering habitat for large populations of Greenland white-fronted geese.
