Springwater

description Springwater Overview

Springwater is a main-group pallasite meteorite found in Saskatchewan, Canada, in 1904. It consists of unusually large, gem-quality olivine crystals embedded in an iron-nickel matrix, a structure characteristic of pallasites. Its translucent crystals and contrasting metal make prepared slices useful for meteorite collectors, museums, and researchers studying differentiated planetary material.
