Sue Atkins was a British lexicographer who lived from 1931 to 2021 and specialized in computational and bilingual lexicography. She began working with Collins, where she served as general editor of the Collins-Robert English-French Dictionary, and later advised Oxford University Press. Her corpus-based methods helped shape the Oxford-Hachette English-French Dictionary and are relevant to the study and production of modern bilingual reference works.
