Tikona Fort is a hill fort in the Maval region of Maharashtra, India, southwest of Pune. The fort occupies a prominent triangular hill, and its name comes from tikona, a Marathi word meaning “triangular.” Its remains include steep access paths, rock-cut steps, water tanks, and fortifications associated with the wider history of the Maratha-controlled western Deccan. The site is also known as Vitandgad.
