help Wormhole Chess FAQ

What is Wormhole Chess?

Wormhole Chess is a spatial chess variant in which designated pairs of squares act as portals. A piece entering one wormhole can teleport to its connected square.

How do wormholes work in Wormhole Chess?

The board contains paired squares that are linked to each other. When a move interacts with a designated portal, the piece may be transported across the board through that connection.

Is Wormhole Chess played on a normal chessboard?

It uses a chessboard-like playing space, but adds special portal squares. Those wormholes change movement and create tactical routes that do not exist in standard chess.

How is Wormhole Chess different from standard chess?

Standard chess has no teleporting squares, while Wormhole Chess uses interconnected wormhole pairs. This allows pieces to cross the board in ways beyond their ordinary movement patterns.
