Zar Dheri is a Buddhist archaeological complex in Tambah near Shinkiari, in Mansehra District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The site belongs to the Gandharan cultural region and is dated by Pakistan’s Department of Archaeology and Museums to roughly the first through fifth centuries CE. Excavations identified a cruciform stupa with steps on all four sides, a monastic complex, stone sculpture, coins, and ceramics.
