description Bustee Overview
Bustee is an aubrite meteorite that fell in northern India in 1852. Aubrites are rare, highly reduced achondrites composed predominantly of enstatite, with mineral chemistry indicating formation under conditions containing very little oxygen. As a documented nineteenth-century fall, Bustee provides researchers with material for investigating enstatite-rich parent bodies and the early differentiation of rocky objects in the Solar System.
