Lord Lane was the judicial title of Geoffrey Lane, an English judge who served as Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales from 1980 until 1992. In that office he led the senior judiciary of England and Wales and presided over the Court of Appeal's criminal division. His career is associated with twentieth-century English criminal law and the administration of the courts.
