West Hawk is a meteorite impact crater located in Manitoba, Canada, that was formed approximately 359 million years ago during the Late Devonian period. The structure measures about 2.5 kilometers in diameter and is now occupied by West Hawk Lake, which is the deepest lake in the province. The impact origin of the site is confirmed by the presence of shattered rock formations and shocked quartz found in the area. It is a prominent geological feature within the Canadian Shield.
