Lake Kwania is a lake in northern Uganda, within the districts of Lira, Apac, and Amolatar. It forms part of a large wetland system along the Victoria Nile between Lake Victoria and Lake Albert, and is associated with the neighboring Lake Kyoga basin. The lake covers about 540 square kilometers of open water and supports fishing, including fisheries for Nile tilapia and Nile perch, making it important to communities around its landing sites.
