The Dotted Border Moth, Agriopis marginaria, is a geometrid moth of Europe with a marked difference between the sexes. The male has functional wings and flies during the winter season, while the female has only tiny, rudimentary wings and remains flightless, attracting males with pheromones. Its caterpillars feed on the leaves of various deciduous trees, linking the species to woodland, hedgerows, and other habitats with suitable broad-leaved hosts.
