My experience with Geico has been okay overall. However, as with most insurance companies, things get very rocky if you need to actually need to use your insurance for what it is intended for. I would advise that you utilize their phone app as much as possible to avoid dealing with incompetent customers service representatives, as they have the tendency to only compound the problem(s) that you seek to rectify.

It was cheap, I got a rebate back at the end of the year, if you are a first time buyer I would chose this car insurance. It starts out very low premiums going by your driving record. Also you can pay for the whole 6 months all at once. The app awesome. Everything right there.
They said that they were giving a 15% discount because people were driving less during the COVID crisis. Two days later they sent a notice that my rates were going up 30% because my car was getting older and parts were more expensive. So the discount was negated and my price increased 15%.
I switched from another company, because I had just moved to a new area. Customer service was very rude and not helpful at all to my issues. I was very disappointed with the company and soon wanted to delete my account.
They are pretty receptive for small claims, like a glass windshield claim. However they were not receptive when a drunk driver hit me. And it took a year to settle with the insurance company through the court.
I get insurance quotes yearly and ever since purchasing Geico auto insurance they have repeatedly had the best prices for the best coverage. The customer service is outstanding and their app provides you the ability to easily get whatever you need, replacement cards, policy coverage, and efficiently.
I have no experience yet working with them and hopefully I won't need to. So far customer service has been good and their rates were significantly lower than anyone else. I pay about $160/mo with Geico while others wanted $230+/mo. Every time I move I get new quotes, prices vary tremendously between the different insurance companies.
When I shopped around for insurance for my car I was unsure of what to expect. It had been a while since I needed any personally. I was astonished by the cost of several other insurance company’s, the cost was higher than my car payment per month, until I received a quote from Geico. It was reasonable and I felt they were looking out for my best interest.
It’s a great insurance. Easy to use app and great customer service! The rates are the best among other major creditors! They have several different coverages with many options to fit customer’s needs.
I've switched companies over the years. Every so many years when I thought my insurance premium was getting too high. I've always gone back to Geico because even though over time the premiums might get higher, when you go back the premiums are stellar. Can't be beat. When and if you have to file a claim geico is fast and a pleasure to do business with. They make the ordeal not quite as traumatic as it could be. Overall even though the premiums go up over time, I would give the company a five star rating. I love that you can use the app and either print out your cards, make changes to your account or file a claim. It's easy and user friendly. Thanks geico.
My experience with GEICO was very disappointing. They very accommodating when they are trying to get your business. Once you sign up With them they begin “to boil the frog” and raise the price just like the cable company. Sad.
Just like any other Auto Insurance Business, this Company, so far has been ok for the time being when it only comes down to Car Insurance. I have yet to have to contact them for any collisions and repairs, so I cannot speak on any major interaction or service requests for vehicle damages. I will say they have, so far kept their word when it boils down to either raising your rates or lowering them and even keeping them the same. I've been with Geico now for nearly 3 plus years and haven't had any price hikes or issues with them.
