Nanjizal

Nanjizal is a remote, secluded cove located on the coast of west Cornwall, England. It sits just south of Land's End, the most westerly point of mainland England.

Because there is no direct road access to the beach, visitors must walk along a section of the South West Coast Path to reach Nanjizal. The walk from the nearest parking areas, such as Porthgwarra or Land's End, takes about 30 to 45 minutes.

The "Song of the Sea" (or Zawn Ryg) is a stunning natural rock arch and zawn located on the southern side of Nanjizal beach. It is famous for the way the waves crash into the deep inlet, creating a roaring, musical echo.

While the clear waters look inviting, Nanjizal is an unpatrolled, remote beach with no lifeguards, so swimming requires extreme caution. It is heavily affected by the Atlantic tides and swell, making it more suitable for experienced surfers than casual swimmers.
