Our cruise was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic. We received a credit for the cruise. Nationwide is transferring our policy if we take a cruise within 18 mos from time of original purchase. I think this is very fair and I appreciate their flexibility.

Your customer service representative was courteous and efficient during my phone call. Explained my benefits and told me all that i needed to file my claim. Also I was sent an email with the necessary instructions and claim forms. My claim will be in the mail shortly.
I did not file a claim, but I did call the company upon return from my trip to explore the possibility of filing a claim due to luggage delayed by more than 24 hours. I probably could have determined this by reading the full policy, but since I did not make any purchases for items needed due to the luggage delay, I had no basis for a claim. However, in discussing the claims process with the agent, it was apparent to me that the amount of substantiating paperwork on both the luggage delay and the purchases is significant. So much so, that I believe I would have had to spend a significant amount of time with the airline to get the documentation of the luggage delay that Nationwide Mutual required. I'm not sure they are any different than any other company on this, but I thought I had what would be required until I talked to them.
Getting my policy to go into effect from an online or verbal quote was difficult. Nationwide did not want to honor a quote that they provided to me. They tried to give me a policy at a higher cost than I was quoted. Cancelled my policy due to an incorrect credit/debit card number provided for billing through automatic payment. Never took the responsibility to call me or send correspondence to tell me there was an issue with my credit card. They just cancelled my policy.
They went up by $10 within 2 month's after renewal month without prior notification to payee. And, they are pretty good company to have on your side except when in an accident with another Nationwide customer. It also depends on the agent of the company for each of the accident consumers.
Well, Nationwide is great. I've had accidents and their response was immediate, thorough and complete. When talking to agent I got clear advice and solutions that help me feel at ease about the situation. Payments are low and reasonable.
Nationwide is the only insurance I've had so far. I don't really know what other insurance companies have to offer, so I might check into that and switch at some point but at the moment I'm pretty happy with them.
Great insurance and I would recommend Nationwide to anyone. Amazing friendly people and so helpful with anything you need to ensure you are covered. Nationwide insurance company was there for me when my son had an wreck. They handle everything, so I didn't have to worry about bills. But my policy went up on Nationwide insurance and I couldn't afford it at the time I had it.
Nationwide Insurance values their customers. I had an accident with a deer and it totaled my truck. They called to see if I was alright. And they took me through every steps they took to make the decision about my truck. They answered every question too. They also gave me time to make decisions on my truck to take the money offer or to buy it back from them. Plus, they had several people call me to help me make a decision. They also kept me updated at all times, very helpful. They also called when they said they would. I love the outcome of my experience with them.
The customer service is great. They are always there to answer questions and resolve any issues. I had an accident which wasn't my fault and they took care of it really quickly. They did not increase my insurance as a result. They were helpful. I had no problems using them and will use them in the future.
