Snapdown

description Snapdown Overview

Snapdown is a gymnastics and acrobatics technique in which the body moves from an arched position toward a hollow chest position, commonly from a handstand or within a round-off or handspring. The athlete brings the legs down while closing the hips and lifting the chest, using the hands, shoulders, and floor contact to return toward the feet or create momentum for the next skill. It is taught as a prerequisite for several tumbling connections.
