description Endo Circle Overview
An Endo circle is a forward giant circle performed in a piked straddle or piked position on the horizontal bar. The gymnast passes through an inverted position while maintaining contact with the bar, using shoulder movement and body compression to continue the rotation. Named for Japanese gymnast Yukio Endo, the skill appears in advanced men's artistic gymnastics and can be used to change grip or connect into other circling and release elements.
